Pick the experience you actually want—not just the first populated server you see. Get a tailored recommendation in two questions, then compare every major scenario before committing your group.
Completely new? Choose Manibus (Novice). Otherwise, choose between classic PvE, environmental survival, surreal co-op, Deviation collecting, structured PvP, faction PvP or RaidZone's higher stakes.
Your first answer determines the one follow-up that matters. No sign-in and no twenty-question personality test.

Core Nalcott PvE with newcomer-friendly pacing and fewer competing systems.
The familiar open-world PvE loop with harder late-game activities than Novice.
Extreme temperatures and environmental management make survival part of the build.
Reality-bending Dream Zones encourage players to react and cooperate.
Deviations sit at the center of collecting, development and combat.
Structured conflict built around warbands and frontier territory.
Two factions compete around Prism Deviations and shared objectives.
The no-rules, extraction-flavored specialist option built around risk.
The content and ruleset: map, mechanics, objectives and PvE/PvP identity.
A regional instance with its own opening date, phase and platform access.
An instance inside a server. Eligible scenarios may include Normal and Visional Worlds.
The best scenario is useless if the group splits across regions or server types.
Manibus (Novice) teaches the core PvE loop with smoother unlock pacing. Normal Manibus suits survival veterans joining experienced friends.
Manibus is the clearest solo default. Choose Novice for a first character; normal Manibus for more late-game challenge.
Evolution's Call fits warbands, Prismverse's Clash fits faction objectives, and RaidZone fits veterans who want greater risk.
There are settlement, permanent-server and early-exit paths, but changing is not instant playlist hopping. Check current in-game exit rules first.
Permanent servers suit players continuing at their own pace. A newly opened recommended server is usually friendlier to a fresh character.
Use the same supported cross-platform server. A server explicitly marked Console cannot be entered by PC/mobile friends.
World variants inside eligible servers. A Visional World layers anomalous rules over the base scenario rather than replacing it.
Understand persistent progression, then choose a build direction for your content.
